Recently my laptop has been acting strangely. I have an HP Pavillion laptop and when I power it on it boots into windows and restarts immediately. Also, when the laptop powers on, I try to enter into the bios to change the boot order to USB drive in priority, it shuts down immediately. Please help?

Hello Donald!

Before jumping in to conclusion please take note that your laptop is still covered with warranty for 1 year or more. If your computer continuously restarts and cannot load usb-bootable device then do this fix. Turn of your computer/laptop, unplugged it from the power source. Open your computer and look for memory. Unplug the memory wipe it with a smooth cloth or cotton (the golden part of memory). There are other suggestions to use eraser and rub it on the copper-side of the memory. Plug it back again. If you’re using a desktop computer, unplug also your video card and do the same procedure. This is cause by virus infection and hardware instability or conflicts. If this doesn’t fix your problem, force the system to load to BIOS as many time until you set it to proper boot. Reformat or reinstall fresh system is the best option if above instructions doesn’t work.
