By April 27, the new tablet will be available in Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand.What could be it's price?

The Ipad 3, also known as the “New Ipad,” has been available in local retail stores throughout South Africa, although the product’s official launch has yet to be announced.  Kalahari and Wantitall, which are well-known online retailers, have offered the New Ipad to prospective clients through their import services while the Notebook Company and Simply Mac have placed the said product in their inventory.

Those who want to purchase the New Ipad immediately, before its official launch in South Africa, must, however, consider its hefty price tag.  One must visit every local retail store in order to determine the store which offers the best value for one’s hard-earned money. Wantitall, as mentioned earlier, carries three Ipad 3 models with prices ranging between R6,694 and R8,665 per item.

I think you are referring to the Apple iPad Wi-Fi + 3G. It supports 2G and 3G and fits in a micro-SIM. This was announced in January 2010 and was released by March. It measures around 242.8 x 189.7 x 13.4 millimeters and weighs 730 grams. It has an LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 768 x 1024 pixels screen resolution.

The screen is protected by a scratch-resistant glass with oleophobic coating. It supports multitouch, 3.5-millimeter jack, internal storage available in capacities 16, 32, and 64 GB running on 256 MB RAM. It has Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and A2DP, USB 2.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. It runs on iOS 4 powered by Apple A4 chipset with 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor and PowerVR SGX535 GPU.

This model can be upgraded to iOS 5.1.1. For its internet browsing, it only supports HTML via Safari browser including compass and accelerometer sensors. It is powered by a non-removable Li-Po battery. It can be purchased for around 410 Euros. It receives positive reviews from users who have already bought it though it doesn’t have any built-in camera and they don’t care.
