PPPoE connection error in Win 7

I have Windows 7 operating system, and whenever I try to connect with PPPoE connection I face an error saying "Error 651 :

The modem (or other connected device) has reported an error".

What should I do?

PPPoE connection error in Win 7

The error “651”

Is due to trouble in windows 7 files mostly with the PPPoE driver file “raspppoe.sys” you can locate this enter in C:windows > system32 > drivers folder the major trouble is due to the form effort.

But changing that file you can work your hitch.To resolve this trouble simply change the name, the new “raspppoe.sys” enter into something several else copying an excavation enter from a Windows Vista grouping. You can obtain this Windows Vista grouping files from here under virtuous download unzip and put in t C: windows > system32 > driver folder
