Power Error-make sure the computer is turned on

Hi,

While working on my IdeaPad V470 Laptop I got this error.

Power Error – Make sure the computer is turned on and connected to the power.

I have been drafting a report and wanted a print out. It’s quite a large document, about 150 pages.

I gave the printer command and got about doing some other work. After a few pages were printed the printer stalled. When I checked the screen to see what had happened.,this error message was there. I already had the laptop connected to the charger while working.

What do you think the problem might be? I couldn’t get the rest of the document printed as the computer won’t allow me to give any commands.

Please help.

Thank you.

Hallo Hope,

In order to charge your iPad battery, you will need to try one of the following:

  • First, try connecting the iPad to a power outlet using the included cable as well as the 10W USB power adapter.
  • Or you can connect to a high-power USB 2.0 port using the included cable.

In the process of charging the iPad using a computer's USB 2.0 port, you will need to ensure that the computer is plugged in to power and not in either standby, sleep, or hibernation mode. Note that iPad does not charge when connected to an older accessory that can only be able to support FireWire charging. You may get an error like the one you're getting right now if you do that.

Regards,

Carl
