The possible effects of power banks on portable gadgets

Because of the unreliable power supply in most African countries, the use of power banks has become the order of the day. Due to these happenings I would like to know if there are any demerits in the use of power banks for Smartphone and laptop computers. To what extend does the power bank influences the performance of smartphone and laptops?

Hi Abrahamahartman,

I wish you're having a nice day, Which country do you live at, I live in African country and we don't have any problems with the power supply.

Anyway power banks don't affect device's battery life badly, If not at all,I can tell you from people I know experiences, but you must be little cautious as some people are reporting bad battery life after using power banks, So you should go with branded power banks, Something like Ancher.
