Pidgin – Error Changing Account Info

Hi guys,

The problem is with my free chat client Pidgin. It is indicating something regarding my account information.

Have a look at the error message below. What does it mean? Have you any idea?

Please help me to solve it.

Pidgin – Error Changing Account Info

Hello Jeffrey,

You had to download an old version of AIM like 5.9.3857 this version still had the menu option to change the formatting of your screen name. when you used that to change the capitalization of your screen name there to match what you was using, after this you stopped getting the error message.

Pidgin – Error Changing Account Info

Hi Mr. Parker,

This error has something to do with the 'invalid' capitalization or spaces that you're typing in your username. You can try to remove the domain suffix (@example.com) on your log in credentials. If it would not allow you to do so, kindly try to type the username in lowercase or in uppercase.
