Basically you asked a question,it is about professional work as you can do some work you know. But here you have to asked those question only who can solve your problem at all. This is not yet your problem. It is your desire to work in WordPress or etc.

Well you can complete a course about CSS and PHP contains. If you want to complete this course at home based only then it will take long time to Experts. Like per day you can learn from any website or any books from two or three hours and these learning things can be used only 10 minutes to practice. But it can not largely effect on you.
