Long history of Philips’ extensive research and development and technologies that maximized entertaining experiences throughout audio space-integrating made by Dolby lead to achievement know as 3D HD format that is capable of powering glasses-free 3D displays which enables broadcasts, operators and device manufacturers to deliver HD quality 3D on any device. It creates comfortable, truly enjoyable glasses-free 3D viewing with enhanced performance of 3D displays. This project will be followed with enhancing the performance of 3D customer devices to make 3D viewing as common as 2D content viewing on high-quality screen today is. 3D HD format and tools for 3D content creation and real-time 3D content conversion will be enabled in the system.
