Computer turning off by itself is often caused by overheating. What you can do is to open the computer's case and check if the fans are working. If they are not, try to remove them and clean them, make sure they are free of dust. Then carefuly put them back.

If cleaning the fans inside the computer still causes the computer to turn off without a warning, you need to check the hardware component of your computer. For example, check the memory card, CPU, motherboard and power supply. If your computer continuous to turn off even after checking the hardware component, you can also check if there is a virus so you need an updated virus scanner and check for malware.  Since you mention your computer is a 6 months old, it is still under warranty, you can bring it back to where you bought it to have a technical support hands on/check the computer.
