PC freezes while playing high end games.

I downloaded Call of Duty Advanced Warfare for my PC yesterday from Steam. I played the game for about 30 minutes and it freezed in the middle of gameplay. I'm still facing this problem. I was really annoyed so I checked my GPU temperature but it wasn't an overheating issue. Processor, on the other hand, was also working fine. What might have caused the issue?

PC freezes while playing high end games.

Hi,  Joseph D Saunders  well that's odd considering the the game can run on open GL or other video source. I think the problem is not the hardware. But your software try to download some Optimizer software that will optimize your operating system and you will not have a problem in later time but for now then reason why your game crush there part of code that is written in the program that your OS is not familiar.
