Yes you can send a password encrypted outlook email steps is as follows.

  1. Open a window to compose an outlook message
  2. Then click on drop-down this will give an option for "Password Encryption"
  3. Then compose the message and add any formatting that you want to, attachments or images as required.
  4. When you are completed with that; you will have to click the Outlook "Send" button.
  5. If you have not saved a password for the intended recipient, then you have to enter the password in the next window.

The issue with putting a password for an outlook file is possible. This can be applied to Outlook accounts with POP3 or the HTTP. What type of email account do you have? We need to verify it first it this solution will apply. You can do the following steps, first check the folder that you would like to set up a password for.  For POP3 or HTTP accounts just go to Properties and click the folder and type your password. Make sure to use passwords that are strong enough in characters so it would be hard for a person to access your account illegally. Remember your PASSWORDS always.
