It is genuine to see a 0x800CCC0E error message when you try to set up an email account in Outlook and try to send an email. This error message is coming because of Outlook that does not authenticate your account with the server when it is sent. The outgoing mail server refuses the message. To solve it, you simply need to follow these steps:

Open Outlook and navigate to: Accounts -> Properties -> Servers.

Once you are in this section, you will need to highlight “My server requires authentication”.

You must now enter your full email account and the password you chose during the creation.

Finally, click on the “Apply” and “Accept” buttons. This completes the configuration of the email account in Outlook. Now try sending an email and you should not have any problems with that. You have corrected the error 0x800CCC0E.
