Hello,
I have all of my group policy objects in my Active Directory schema domain partition. It is under as is shown below.
Group policies- UNDER- System-UNDER-DomainÂ
Â
I am having a critical problem with my group policy objects is SYSVOL.  They can’t be displayed  in Group Policy Management Console.  In the attempt it shows,Â
Â
Operation failed. Error code: 0x8007200a
Â
Again while I am attempting to remove any object, the following error gets to appear.
Â
Â
Operation failed. Â Error code: 0x8007200a
The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist.

Hi James,
It sounds like you might have a permissions issue.
Check to ensure you have the proper permissions to READ the object, and ensure you do not have any DENY permissions specified.
Whatever account you're logged in with, ensure the permissions for the attributes of that object are properly set.
I hope that helps.

Hi there James Belt,
Â
The first thing you should do is to check the permissions of the object. You should be able to view the attributes, and if you're not you will need to change all available permissions to allow.
Â
Just in case you can't or that doesn't work, there is a quick workaround for your problem – just use the Enterprise Admin account instead of your regular account you are using.
