Hi, I need help on my Nokia 701. I think i screwed it up and i was wondering if there's a utility that can open Nokia 701 back up file to explore and extract my text messages, other user files and specially my contacts?

Greetings!

Have you tried installing nokia pc suite? You can connect your mobile device via bluetooth or via sync cable. Your contacts, messages in your inbox, and also the applications and images on your device can be seen on that software if it is connected to it.

Hello Vivian,

Since you screwed up with your Nokia 701, I assume that you already formatted your unit or else your unit is already bricked or useless. Your only option to recover your text messages and contact details is to recover your back up. Your phone comes with a memory card,all you have to do is to insert it to another phone that suits your memory card.Find the menu for memory card and browse for memory card back up recovery.and after that you can now see your you back up messages and contacts.

Hi                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              First ,to open your nokia 701 you have to use nokia pc suite. It is the only way to restore the lost content. Concerning exploration  and extraction of messages you have to use  the NbuExplorer application . You can easily download it through the free software "sourceForget.net". Try it and i hope it  solves the problem.
