Hello Alice,

It seems that there was a problem when you were doing either of the following: • Downloading the file. The downloaded file could be broken. • Installing the file. The installer might have had problems during the installation process and therefore the file was not installed successfully.

To resolve the problem therefore you will need to try the following: • Go back to the internet and download the file. Make sure the site you are downloading from is a trusted site. • Uninstall the open home 2.6 application and try reinstalling it and see if that will work.

This method will work if there was a problem during installation.

Regards,

Carl

I can’t seem to find the application you are referring to. But based on the error message you posted, it seems the application is an Android program and if this is the case and you downloaded it on your computer, you need an Android emulator for the program to work. Android applications use the APK extension or “.apk” which is not designed to run on Microsoft Windows.

To install an Android emulator on your computer to run the APK file you downloaded, try using KOPlayer. It supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 both 32-bit and 64-bit. It requires 512 MB RAM, 3 GB hard drive space, 1024 x 768 screen resolution, video card with OpenGL 2.0 support, and VT-x for Intel or AMD-V for AMD CPU virtualization.

The CPU virtualization is a prerequisite and can be accessed in the BIOS.
