Online course quiz pause timer

We are developing a test for students and we want an online course quiz pause timer option. Can somebody tell me if this is possible and if it is, tell me  how? I understand that there are already persons who do this "illegally" so we decided might as well as give it.

Online course quiz pause timer

 

Hello Mr. Edward,

As much my knowledge you are planning to develop an online quiz test which allows to pause but at the same time you need to take care that quizzer doesn’t cheat to get the answer so the best possible way to do so :-

You should allow the user to pause only if he had answered the current question and not viewed the next one.

You shouldn’t allow user to change the answer of their previously answered questions.

Moreover you should ask the user for how much time user needs to Pause then a Pause timer Script can run for it.

Suppose the user enter his need to pause for 15 minutes so at the end of 14 minutes  he can increase the timer of he restart by resuming the test.
