Office Standard 2001 on Windows XP

I am unable to successfully install Office Standard 2007 on my Windows XP computer.  Am not receiving any error message but the installation process hangs when it completes 90% installation without any acknowledgment . How can I resolve the issue? Can anyone help me?

Office Standard 2001 on Windows XP

You will need to cancel the installation process and start it all over again and see if it will be successful. The computer might have hanged when the installation was going on and therefore causing that error to happen. You should make sure that when running the setup the computer is connected to a power source, for if the computer happens to run out power in the middle of the setup process then it will cause a problem.

The problem may also be with the installation CD that you are using. There might be a problem with the data on it, it might be corrupt and therefore causing the DVD drive to be unable to read from it.
