Objects are probably connected in a loop

Hi,

I just lost my connection when the cache tries to retrieve an object located on a sibling and the following error message appears on the screen. I just followed the given statement of the error message but could not get the resolution. How can I fix this problem? Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Objects are probably connected in a loop

Hi Donald,

This is a known error and one of the most common when you are programming with Max. Max might have been overloaded with heavy or sequential commands so much so that it comes back with a stack overflow error. You will have to stop the Max scheduler or restart the scheduler, or in some cases both.

To stop the scheduler- Press the Command (Mac) or Control (Windows) key and type a dot/period. You should get a pop up asking you to resume or restart the scheduler.

Starting the scheduler- Choose Edit menu > Resume
