The adapter of my notebook is recently causing problem. When I connect it the indicator shows connected but it shows no sign of charging. Please someone help me about this problem so that I can fix it.

I am extremely sorry to hear about your problem. Make sure the AC adapter is plugged in properly. In addition to that, make sure other leads are also plugged in. As you said, if the light comes on but still no sign of charge, then the cable connected to the laptop may be damaged or the socket on your laptop is faulty. However, there are some ways to try. At first, reseat the battery. I mean take it out and then put it back in. now see whether the symptoms have changed at all. If not then you many have to change the adapter.
Intel has an informative page issues with their processors and AC adapter. Try that.
