Not installing flash player 10 for LG smart TV

My housemate recently bought an LG Smart TV. When he tries to open YouTube a pop message appears saying we need to download the latest version of flash player. We download it directly from TV. But nothing happens after a while. We can still view YouTube. It seems flash player 10 for LG Smart TV is not working. Do we need a specific version?

Not installing flash player 10 for LG smart TV

Hello,

The latest player upgrade has been released in collaboration with Adobe Corporation for smart TV that is the flash player 11 which is available for download. It will be an upgrade of the flash player 10 you already have. There is also the automatic software update for the smart TV that enables the firmware to automatically update, therefore your flash player should be updated during the upgrade.

If it doesn't work you can connect the PC to the TV in two ways, you can transmit HDMI wireless from TV to PC through various devices available for purchase like the HD delight wireless beam-to-tv transmission kit.

You can buy a HDMI plug in cable that you can connect directly to the TV's HDMI port from the PC and you get to use your TV via the PC therefore enabling you to watch your YouTube videos. This is how the cable looks like.
