Password Error on sharing desktop PC with Laptop

i am not able to share my desktop with laptop when I connect both to each other and start sharing and try to open my desktop from laptop.  It says, "enter user name and password".  I have entered the password many times but it says  incorrect password and I am entering correct password.  I have tried to remove the password from administrator but it still says enter password and incorrect password.  Any solution?

Password Error on sharing desktop PC with Laptop

I think you are not entering your password correctly. There might be some typing mistake. For this reason you are not able to access your PC. You can re-setup or reorganize your Desktop computer. Your LAN connection might have some problems. You can re-setup your connection settings to solve your problem.

Sometimes this happens when both your Desktop computer and Laptop have to be turned-on. You should turn-on your Desktop computer to enter in it. If your Desktop is shut down, then you cannot enter into your desktop computer. So, turn on both your PC and laptop to do your work.

What is the operating system that you are using ? XP, Vista, Win 7 no matter what operating system you are using, first of all you need to enable remote desktop of the computer that you need to log in remote. For an example
