V-moda is a protective case made of  aircraft-grade brushed metal and shock absorbing silicone that can keep your iPhone from scratches, dents or breaks with a 2200mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to 8 hours of playback, it can serve as a backup power source and double the iPhone's battery life. It also boosts the iPhone’s audio output quality.

The V-moda also contains its own Digital to Analog converter that extracts the iPhone's digital output and converts it into its analog form or signals for audio listening.
