Just like what I always do, if I don’t like the improvements or the changes added to the latest version of a web browser, either I shift to an earlier version of the same web browser or use a different web browser. Most of the time if a new feature was added, it will stay there until they get tired of it and they will either replace it with a different feature or completely abandon and remove it.

For how long, no one knows because it always depends on the developer or if they received too many complaints about the feature. In your case, if you only want to get rid of the new Profile button in Google Chrome because it annoys you, there is a way to disable it but not to remove it.

If you want to disable the new Profile button in Google Chrome, here is how. Start Google Chrome then in the address bar, type without quotes “chrome://flags/#enable-new-profile-management” then hit Enter. It will supposedly lead you to the “Enable new profile management system” option of the Google Chrome web browser. Once it opens, disable the option then restart Google Chrome and the new Profile button will be gone.
