I would like to update my e-reader, and I have read fab reviews of the Amazon Kindle Voyage. I would like to know what its most distinctive features are.

In other words, why should I upgrade to the Amazon Kindle Voyage? What features make it stand out? Does it have shortcomings or drawbacks in usability?

Before I answer your question, let me first enumerate the features that stand out in Amazon Voyage

(a) A display that adjusts brightness as per surroundings.

(b) A new way to turn pages (Page Press)

(c) A higher resolution Display

(d) Higher memory from 2GB to 4GB

(e) New features such as Family Library and Word wise.

(f) Higher battery life.

Now, the answer as to why you should buy Amazon Voyage largely lies in the fact of what you are upgrading from. If you have a Kindle which is 3 or more years old, then this is definitely worth it. If you are planning to upgrade from Kindle Paperwhite then you might want to consider for a little more time about the new features Kindle Voyage has to offer. It is very early to comment on its usability or drawbacks.
