Hello there,

I need to change the Product code, how do I change it? Friends suggest me some idea to overcome this error. Badly in help. Thanks

Hi Marco,

First make sure you have the correct nokia firmware for your hand phone. The go to C:Program FilesNokiaPhoenixProducts and you should create new folder naming like RM-313 for N82 or RM-596 for N8 so that the folder will be like RM-XXX (the number). You can check your RM on phone by pressing *#0000#. And now the problem has been solved meaning to say it wont appear and Phoenix can detect the Nokia firmware.

You may get this error when flashing a Nokia N82 using Phoenix Service Software. The full error reads “Neither DP1.0 nor DP2.0 was found for the Product, or the Product cannot be identified”. When you try to flash Nokia N82 with this software, the error appears when you select the product code in the update window. The error means Phoenix Service Software was unable to locate your phone’s firmware.

To fix the problem, first, you need to have the correct firmware for your phone. To learn how to get the correct firmware, go to How to download Nokia firmware using NaviFirm+ for the instructions on how to use NaviFirm+. Once you have downloaded the firmware, open Windows Explorer then navigate to “C:\Programs Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products”.

If you have 64-bit Microsoft Windows, go to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Nokia\Phoenix\Products”. Here, create a new folder and name it for example, without quotes “RM-313” for Nokia N82 or “RM-596” for Nokia N8. You can check the RM number by pressing *#0000# on your phone. And that’s it. You should no longer see the error as you flash your phone.
