We are planning to provide free internet for our customers while they are in our shop. I cannot afford much on the internet and hence planning to provide internet which is simply sufficient o browse but not download huge files. Maximum customers at any time will be 15-20. For the given number of users, which is the best wifi router available in market? Shop size is 1000 Sqft and hence I expect to use only one router. Kindly, share the details of router which i can explore. Another added advantage would be to control the speed allowed to the customers. Are there any software for the same?

AC1900 Wi-Fi Router (DIR-880L) this one work great. This works great with 20-30 customers and even good in video streaming so you can rally depend on this with less lags.

Specifications

1.   Price ranges from $199 to $259

2.   Can reach up to more than 100 feet

3.   With amplifiers and antennas for greater range and speed of bandwidth

4.   Guess network access, firewall and Denial-of-Service protection

With your questions about limiting the user’s bandwidth, there are several free-software that you can use to do this. You can use NetBalancer, Traffic Shaper, and Nimbus.
