Need help on how to input iPhone text flowers

I heard that there are different types of text flowers that you can do on an iPhone. I saw a message from a friend what looks like just an icon and I saw from my brother, the whole screen as a flower. Can someone please teach me the easiest way to make iPhone text flowers?

The reason why your friend can add a flower image in the text area is because he downloaded an iPhone application called EMOJI. It offers wide variety of emoticon characters that are very popular today with the younger generation. If your friend has an iPhone with an IOS 5 or lower version installed in it, he probably have downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, which is free as long as you have this brand of gadget. 

However, Apple announced that they will be removing this app from the store because IOS 6 now provides Emoji to all users. So if you’ve got a lower version IOS, you may still check the App store on your phone to see if Emoji is still available for download.
