Need help in customizing wordpress

How can I revert my wordpress site to its pre customization state? I recently tried to customize the install theme in WordPress, and the result is nothing to desired. I tried to place a logo and also some other options according to the theme vendor description. Now the site is really bad, I need to revert the changes. How do I go about this?

One way is to do a complete uninstall of WordPress, followed by a complete reinstall. Since you didn't like the result of the site, you won't be losing anything, as long as you have your logo and other customizations backed up on a disc or your computer.



Otherwise, there is a site here that says that you can use a plugin they developed that will reset WordPress to its default settings in a few simple steps: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-reset-your-wordpress-database-to-default-settings/



However, if I were you, I would try the complete reinstall first, because multiple times I have tried plugins and other software that claimed they helped me, but then they installed malware and stuff that I did not want.
