If you are receiving an “error code 39” when checking the driver in the Device Manager, try using the “Hardware and Devices troubleshooter” in Windows 7 to check the error. Go to the Control Panel and type “troubleshooter” in the search box then select Troubleshooting. In “Hardware and Sound”, click “Configure a device” and then enter the password when you are prompted.
