“Windows Server” or “Microsoft Windows Server” is a brand name for a group or series of server operating systems released by Microsoft which includes all Windows operating systems branded as “Windows Server” except any other Microsoft product. The latest version at the moment is Windows Server 2019 announced on March 20, 2018 and officially released to the public on October 2, 2018.
