All my installed application works perfectly except for my TeamViewer. When I open the icon nothing happens. When I look on it on the task manager it’s not there but when I try to uninstall it error message says please close TeamViewer first on the system tray before uninstalling. Please help on how can I fix this.Â
My TeamViewer is not Working
Kenneth,
Â
I see two possible options to fix it.
Â
1. If the application is there active, go to the system utility configuration (Msconfig) and disable it. Then try to uninstall it normally.
Â
Â
Â
2. Use system restore to go back to a previous date where there were not issues at all. This tool lets you go back in time to restorations points created by the computer automatically.
Â
If you use XP, go to start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore, choose restore my computer to an earlier time and then choose the date. It should be a date before you got the issue and this date should be bold in the calendar. Follow the steps and the process will go on.
Â
For Windows 7, go to start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restoration and then the same. No data will be deleted with this process, just changes in programs.
Â
The computer will restart by itself and you will get a success message when done
Hope this helps
