My smartphone Wi-Fi does not stay connected and keeps on disconnecting

Hello!

I am using Galaxy S5 Android Lollipop. I been having troubles with it since I updated it from its old version. I tried to put it back on old settings but I cannot do that anymore. I have to restart my Android every time it disconnects with WiFi connection. I checked also my router and made sure that this is the only device connected and there’s no interference. Still the same. Can you help me eradicate this problem? Can you provide me also alternative ways to prevent this from happening again?

It can be that there is something wrong with the Wi Fi connectivity. So, first of all verify the connection is free from issues and try the following strategies as well,

  • Restart the device (since a refreshing reboot has the capability to fix certain system issues)
  • Check for system updates and install any, if available.
  • Identify & remove the applications with issues
  • If all the attempts prove useless, it is advisable to reinstall the update and reset the default factory settings so that the device is freed from any processes related to the issue.
