My POP3 e-mail has stopped working

Hello experts,

My POP3 e-mail has been stopped working. I can get e-mails and VPN IN but POP3 is jammed and the web-mail too.  I want to run my  ASAP  though I am hosting my exchange server at work. Please tell,  where I can find solution of my problem.

Hi Sabina,

Can you advise if you are getting any specific error messages? Is the POP3 email you are not able to use a Google account?

If it is a Google account, you can try to check first if the pop option is enabled by going to General > Mail Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP > Make sure there is a tick on Enable pop for all mail. You need to then check if the settings are correct like your POP settings, password, email address to login. Disable any antivirus running on your system and check if you can connect if it is disabled.

My POP3 e-mail has stopped working

So what you mean by POP3 email stopping to work is that you cannot be able to receive incoming mails on your mail server anymore, but you can send outgoing mails without a problem. You will need to do the following to resolve the problem with the POP3 emails:
You will need to check the POP3 settings and make sure that you have not misspelled any words in the addresses. For instance pop3.gmal.com instead of using something like pop3.gmail.com.
You will also need to check and make sure that you have used the right characters in the addresses. Make sure that you have not interchanged full stops with commas and so forth.
