My PLM software Solid Edge 2D Drafting ST4 has detected an error

Hi guys,

My PLM software Solid Edge 2D Drafting ST4 has detected an error.

It is indicating that it has been installed the same earlier.

But there are no such applications available on my machine.

Please help.

Setup has detected that a version of Solid Edge is already installed.

The existing product must be uninstalledfor setup to continue.

My PLM software Solid Edge 2D Drafting ST4 has detected an error

Hi,

It is clear from the error message that an older version is already installed on your computer. Some applications need solid edge to run. It may have happened that the program installed solid edge on your computer and you did not know about it. Try the following steps:

1. Go to Control Panel on your computer and click on uninstall a program.

2. A list of installed programs will be presented. Now scroll down the list and see whether solid edge is already installed on your computer.

3. If you find the software in the list, then right click on it and click uninstall.

The older version will now be uninstalled and you can install the new version.
