My Laptop Display shows Lines in Starting

First, you need to diagnose whether it is a problem in the LCD screen of the laptop or graphic chip in the motherboard. Please do the following basic diagnostic test.

• Switch on the laptop.
• Connect it to another monitor / external monitor, which is absolutely in good condition to the laptop.

If you cannot see those display problems on the external monitor, it is definitely a problem in LCD display in the laptop.

With the help of a technician, you have to thoroughly check the LCD screen of the laptop to identify whether the problem is lying in the inverter, video cable, or backlight. If that is the case, you have to replace the problematic components. If these cannot be repaired, you have to replace the whole LCD display.

If you are having the same problem in the external monitor too, it is a problem in the graphic chip. As these graphic chips are coming on board, you have to replace the whole motherboard. Before you replacing this, think twice to select the best option in terms of costs; whether to buy a new laptop or replacing a new motherboard.
