My iPhone would not sync

I bought iPhone 4S today but when I plug it in my computer tells me it cannot recognize the device plugged in. I never had a problem with my iPod. I run Windows 7 64 bit. Thank You

Yes, it would really happen. You can not just plug in a phone on the computer without installing its software. The computer will never recognize the phone because it does not have the software to be able to recognize the device.

I’m sure your iPhone 4S comes in package together with an installer disc and some manual in it. You need to install the application contained in the disc to your computer.

This application will help the computer to facilitate its function in recognizing the device when you attached it on the USB port and some other stuff that comes with it like synchronizing the phone with your computer and others.

Just load the installer disc on the CD/DVD drive and wait for the installer to load automatically. Then just follow the instructions on installing the software to your computer.
