My free Avira Antivirus Personal encountered a problem

Hi,

I free Avira Antivirus Personal encountered a problem. It is throwing an error message while start up. It is unable to find a file. What does it mean? I searched for necessary settings but no remedy.

Have you any idea of the problem?

Please help.

 

CCPLG.XML:

Unable to find file (C:Program FilesAviraAntiVir Desktopccplg.xml).

My free Avira Antivirus Personal encountered a problem

 

Hi Nelson,

This is the problem with Avira antivirus software. I also came across with this once. There is no remedy for this but only to uninstall it completely and re-install it.

To uninstall, you have to go to the Control Panel, and then add/remove a program and then uninstalling Avira from the list. After uninstalling, you need to re-install it and restart your computer. I hope this will work. If uninstalling from Control Panel didn’t work then go for manually uninstalling Avira.

Hi

Have you recently installed any other antivirus alongside the one you have? Or have you updated your Avira recently? If you have installed another antivirus, chances are the file that is reported missing has either been deleted or quarantined by the other antivirus. Also if you updated your antivirus and changed any memory address, then that could be the problem. Try restoring your computer system to an initial well functioning state.

Hello Nelson,

It's a common problem and it has an easy solution.

Your CCPLG.XML file got deleted somehow.

All you have to do is to download the CCPLG.XML, copy the file and paste it in the folder path where it is finding the file, as it's not found and you are getting an error.

Hello Nelson Carters,

There is missing file to your Avira. Try to Delete / Remove or uninstall your program. After being downloaded a new Avira Antivirus. And then install it again in your PC.
