Hi Experts,

My Dirt 3 has encountered a problem. It is not running any more. I think the installation of the game was completed successfully. Now I get the error message mentioned earlier.

Please help to solve the problem.

 

Dirt3_game.exe – Ordinal Not Found

The ordinal 63 could not be located in the dynamic link library xlive.dll

It seems to be the problem of .dll file. Your Xlive.dll file have been captured or hijacked by some Malware present in your PC. But nothing to worry, just follow these steps and it will be OK.

1.     Restart your PC and load Windows in Safe Mode.

2.     Download Games for Windows Live. It will automatically download Xlive.dll file also.

Use System Restore and undo any recent changes so that the issue will be resolved.

Make sure you have all the game requirements before you can play the game. See the following things before playing the game

  • Game requirements and your system specification
  • Any other software that is required by the game
  • Installation is complete and there is no corrupt file in installation
  • Your VGA card is able to show results for the game (check also the screen resolution)

I installed the latest version of CS5 (v. 12.0.2x32).
