I have the Apple Airport Express router and I want it to connect it to my Windows PC. It is not recognizing Windows PC. I also have a Mac other than my Windows PC. It works fine with Mac but not with Windows PC. What should I do to resolve the issue?

I guess you forgot to check if it requires an installer since you want to connect it to a Windows PC. Of course, since it is an Apple product, it doesn’t require downloading a separate program to install it when connecting to a Mac OS X. You just need to connect it to your Mac OS X and the setup assistant built-in to the iOS will guide you through the entire setup process.

But if you want to use it on a PC, that’s a different story. To connect and use it on a Windows PC, you need to download first the AirPort Utility for Windows. The latest version is AirPort Utility 5.6.1. It requires Microsoft Windows 7. Once downloaded, navigate to the download folder and double-click on the downloaded installer.

Follow the instructions to complete the setup. When the installation is finished, connect your Apple AirPort Express to your Windows PC and you should be able to use it after that. The Apple AirPort Express is a simultaneous dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi router.
