My 4GB USB Flash Drive appears in, My Computer but it does not work. If I try to open it , it shows a message, " Do you want to format the drive? ".
If I try to format it , format process also fails. Is there any solution to that?
It happens mostly when you shut down your computer when the USB flash drive is still attached. Try using Information recovery Software such as USB recovery Software. Review to see that the drive is attached to the computer, and remove it. Be certain that the disk is not a read-only, and then try again.

Sometimes, it happens that your drive can not be formatted or opened because of some boot problems ! Â But don't you worry. All you have to do is that there must be 1 application process that will be working behind Task Manager. Â This means just close the program attached to your USB! Follow the steps below:
TaskManager >> Process >> End The Assosiated Task !
Then it will be formatted!
