Msvcr120 Dll Missing OBS Error Fix

I tried to download OBS on my computer after a Windows update. OBS completed installation but then gave me msvcr120 dll missing error. It said reinstalling the program might solve the problem but it did not work. What should I do?

Msvcr120 Dll Missing OBS Error Fix

What I understand is that after you installed the latest Windows update, you are unable to resolve this error by simply downloading the missing dll file. The reason is that this dll file is bundled with visual c.

What you actually need to do is download the latest version of VC++. Once you download and install the latest VC++, install OBS once again and this problem should not occur anymore. It is advised that only download files from the internet from websites you trust to avoid getting infected by any viruses or malware.
