MS Outlook 2010 issues on accessing emails

Hi,

In our establishment, we have used Outlook 2010 32 Bitinstalled on every computer.

However, there are some users who can’t access certain emails. This looked like some sort of graph/excel in them.

The same email is forwarded to all users, and some of them can open the mail and some cannot. All PC’s have the identical software, Windows 7 64BitOffice 201032Bit. All installation for office was successful using the same MSP file.

Please give me suggestions or any comments that may help me.

Thanks.

MS Outlook 2010 issues on accessing emails

Dear Jennina yale

According to the Microsoft support page under the title: "You receive a "Can't open this item" error message when you try to open a posted item in a public folder in Outlook", it seems that this issue occurs when using the GFI Mail Security of Microsoft Exchange/SMTP antivirus program on the Exchange server. The antivirus puts file locks on some files that are attached to the posted item. A workaround this problem is trying to disable the GFI mail security program on the Exchange server machine when it's temporarily isolated from the network. In order to do this, please follow the instructions explained in this page by Microsoft support: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/895523

Hope this may help you.

Best of luck
