MS OFFICE ENCOUNTERED AND ERRORS
Hi Blackjan,
This error may be due to the fact that the default template "normal.dot is damaged. And in this case you will need a new Normal.dot file. to do this; On the start menu, click on search, under all files and folders type "Normal.dot" and select My computer in the look in. press enter to start searching. In all the results displayed, right click on each and rename them to "OldNormal.dot. exit search
After open word and see if it opens, In case it doesn't then the problem is because you are running your word in an older compatibility than windows xp or vista. To change the compatibility for word;
-Click on your Local drive (c) and then click on Program files
-Click on Microsoft office and then on office
-Right click on "Winword.exe and click on properties. Go on and click on compatibility and unselect all the boxes.
-Click OK.
Open word again.
Hope it works for you.
