Movie Plus fails to unlock some features automatically

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to unlock some of the Movie Plus features on MoviePlus X5 and find that MoviePlus can’t unlock some features automatically. I get a ‘cannot connect to feature unlocking server’ message when attempting to unlock. I checked my internet connection and found that it is working normally and that its speed is good as usual. I did not get any warnings or error messages from my firewall when trying to unlock but all the same I attempted automatic unlocking after disabling my firewall settings temporarily. Still I have had no luck and this problem persists. I am not sure as to how to try manually unlocking the features. Can someone please help me with fixing this automatic unlocking issue or give me instructions on how to go ahead with manual unlocking. Many thanks for your valuable help.

Movie Plus fails to unlock some features automatically

Hey John,

To manually unlock the Movie Plus features, press cancel on the image that comes to your screen (just like the one on your question). Another image with a message will appear, though the feature codes may vary from the ones in the image below:

You can then click on the highlighted Technical Support on the image so you can find out how to reach them either submitting a ticket or by phone and then follow the instructions on the page. You will have to give out the Feature Code and Product Key as they are shown on your Manual Feature Unlocking Message in MoviePlus. Technical Support will then give you the Unlock Codes that are required for every feature via email or phone. With the unlock codes you will have:

  1. In MoviePlus, click on “Tools”>”Options”>”Advanced”
  2. Click on the “Manage Unlock Codes” button
  3. Select the features you want to unlock in the “Features” list
  4. Enter the correct unlock code as given into the box that is on the right, and press unlock
