Modifying Popup Feature in AIM

How can I modify the feature in AIM to make it appear longer in which a small window pop up on one side of the screen that contains the title and sender of the email? I would like the popup to last for more than 5 seconds. In which settings can I find the option of making the popup visible longer, system or in AIM settings? I use Windows XP and Windows 7.

Modifying Popup Feature in AIM

Hello Piper Lee,

I am not sure if that is possible but we can give it a try, but first you could have stated which browser you are using for it to easier for us to figure out the way to go about it. Assuming that you are windows explorer, I will suggest that you try the following:

With Internet explorer opened go to the main and then click on tools. Thereafter point to the pop up blocker option and then click on pop-up blocker settings as shown in the diagram below.

From the settings window, see if you can find out and option for extending the pop up visibility time and then save the changes.
