I also think that this version of Microsoft Windows is really designed to be compatible with handheld devices since it is the popular trend today. The 3 flavors of Microsoft Windows 8 are: Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro, and Windows RT. Windows 8 is the main version and, of course, the first to emerge. It features the usual applications like Microsoft Internet Explorer 10, calendar, photos, mail, and the SkyDrive cloud service.

In Windows 8 Pro, it includes all the features already mentioned above plus Microsoft Office. It also includes advanced options mainly designed for technology lovers, and businesses like PC management and encryption. Windows RT is the third and the last version of the 3. This version is only available to devices that are running on ARM processors and also comes pre-installed.
