Microsoft Office Excel crashes on Exit

MS Excel 2003 crashes every time I close it. I get an error message saying that “Microsoft Excel has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience”.

I have tried re-installing Microsoft Office, and this has not fixed the problem.

The same problem goes with MS Word when I try to save a document.

Hi,

As you said your problem still persists even after re-installation MS Office 2003.

That means you have a problem with your operating system .

The best way to overcome this problem is you have to format the system only and install new operating system again.

This is the perfect solution to the problem.
