Microsoft Lync Server 2013 Debugging Tools Setup

Hi there,

During the install of Microsoft Lync Server 2013 this error message box appeared and I had to click OK hoping that the install will continue, but it didn’t. Any solution ? Please an expert help me please to install this properly.

Microsoft Lync Server 2013, Debugging Tools installation or uninstaller requires that Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 x64 Minimum Runtime – 11.0.50727 Package is already installed. Either use Setup.exe for installation or run vcredist_x64 included with the product to install the redistributable.

Microsoft Visual C++ is one of the greatest products supported by Microsoft. The error is requiring that Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 x64 will be installed.

The program you’re trying to install is built using Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 compiler that makes the EXEs dependent on the specific runtime. The redistributable package is available on 32-bit and 64-bit environment.

Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4. According to your OS, you should download both x86 and x64 package. After completing the installation, run the Lync Server 2013 installer.
