Hi experts

I successfully install SCCM 2012. At present I want to set up FEP 2012 other than I got an error message. Please see the attached file.

Already I have followed great topic by yours "using SCCM 2012 RC in a LAB – Part 5.

Then I am allowing the Endpoint Protection Role as well as configure the Endpoint Protection settings "to organize SSCM 2012.

However there is not anything in the update software.

When I attempt to join was it created this error.

Setup has detected that this installation does not meet the

Following prerequisite:

 

Setup cannot detect the Configuration Manager 2012 console

Installation. Install the Configuration Manager console, and then

Run Setup again.

 

                                                           OK

Microsoft Forefront Endpoint Protection 2012

Hello Laurel,

For the Microsoft Forefront Endpoint protection 2012 application to work, you need to have the Configuration manager 2012 console application already installed on your system. In your case, it seems like you are missing the configuration manager on your computer and that is why you are getting that error.

To resolve that issue, you will need to do the following:

• Go to the internet and download the Configuration Manager 2012 Console. Make sure that it installs successfully.
• After that you can now install the SCCM 2012.

Since you have the Configuration Manager Console installed on your computer you should not get the error again.
