Microsoft Extract Content Exe Sccm Function

Well happy to see you are so curious about it. For your will, I would like to tell you that, This feature calls the Microsoft ExtractContent.exe tool and can be run locally by any distribution point to which you import the package. The only indicator you need to specify is the location of the pre-served content folder.

It uses the hostname of the computer on which it is running and makes a WMI request to display all assigned packets that are not in state 0. If the package has the status 0, there is no has more work to do and we can easily work on each other. You can run the extractcontent.exe tool in several ways, but I have found that some work better than others.

Whether you run it specifying a single package to extract or targeting an entire folder, I noticed that when you check the status of the distribution point configuration in the SCCM console, you still see some predefined. Wait for the content.
